As an iron-based alloy, stainless steel boasts a wealth of benefits as a material across a variety of different industries. Often referred to as laser engraving stainless, this material produces a high contrast, permanent black mark on the surface of the metal which is highly abrasion, heat, and solvent resistant, which makes it perfect for harsh applications and longevity.
At V&R Laser Services, we’re able to supply stainless steel blanks for laser marking of mimic labels, control panels, compliance tags, decals, and more, in any custom shape, size, and configuration. Available with smooth mill, brushed, and mirror surface finishes, the most common grades we use for our stainless steel products are 304 and 316, but this will depend on the application and stainless steel process.
