A collaboration between The Walt Disney Company and Emporium Melbourne, we at Vector & Raster were thrilled to be a part of this fun, odd partnership. The project involved creating hundreds of golden Mickey Mouse heads which would adorn the Emporium’s halls as part of their Christmas celebrations. Naturally, we jumped on the opportunity to work on such a stylishly unique project.
We were commissioned through The Space Agency to create large golden Mickey Mouse heads in the hundreds. Each was to be made out of 3mm gold mirror acrylic, and with thousands of excited shoppers flooding the Emporium for the festive season, we knew that this project had to be truly eye-catching.
As you can see from the pictures, we succeeded in creating a beautiful finished product. Shoppers were treated to a display comprising hundreds of Mickey heads spread throughout the Emporium, each one cleanly cut and glistening on the shopping centre lights. We at Vector & Raster have a lot of experience working on large projects like this one, so our machines were more than up to the task of creating such a high-volume order. Happy holidays indeed!
