Our fibre sheet is a high performance, non asbestos compressed fibre. Depending on application type they can generally contain synthetic fibre, glass fibre, mineral fibre and DuPont Kevlar Aramid Fibres. These fibre gasket materials are normally bound with a Nitrile rubber binder or similar. Fibre sheet is commonly used for laser cut gaskets as it is extremely high performance for demanding, high pressure and high temperature applications. It can also be used in water, food and beverage processing and also storage applications, in certain grades. It is not uncommon for fibre gaskets to withstand pressures of up to 1740psi and temperatures of up to 340 degrees celsius.
